Our places of visit: Benidorm Old Town , Mediterranean Balcony , Cross of Benidorm , Mirador de la Ermita , Tossal de la Cala and finally GUADALEST , 25 km from Benidorm to the mountains… Yes, this little beautiful area is located high in the mountains, but thanks to the fact that it boasts breathtaking bird’s-eye opportunities!
The ruined old castle and narrow cobbled streets are naturally born and make you feel like in antiquity!
During the tour to Guadalest, you will see breathtaking views from the top of the valley to the sea and the turquoise lagoon, offering so many photo opportunities!
The emerald green waters of the Guadalest Reservoir always amaze visitors to this village.
Downstairs there are plenty of craft shops selling souvenirs and merchandise from producers like wine, honey, bags etc. as well as cafes/restaurants offering a wide range of drinks and food at reasonable prices.
In addition, Guadalest also offers half a dozen museums! From the large Museum of Salt and Pepper, which offers more than 20,000 pots for its salt and pepper of various shapes, to the Museum of Miniatures of Guadalest ( Museo de Microgigante, Museo de Microminiaturas, occupying a person who has devoted his whole life to objects in miniature). Children will love the Museum of Economic Means (Museo Vehículos Históricos) of the Valle de Guadalest. This collection of about 140 motorcycles and several microcars in excellent condition and completely original, from the 20s to the 70s.
This is a place for a pleasant walk and lunch, where they go with friends or family. Come here and make sure this cozy village is one of the most popular places to visit on the Costa Blanca!
PS : Be prepared for a lot of steps, bring comfortable shoes and don’t bring warm clothes as it can be colder down there than down the mountain.
See you soon!
